This wordsearch is an excellent starter activity, plenary, or a short independent task to reinforce vocabulary during a unit on Anglo-Saxons. Print copies for each pupil. Encourage them to work individually or in pairs. Before starting, you might briefly review the words to ensure understanding, or use it as a pre-assessment to see what vocabulary they already recognise.
